Bullying can have devas- tating and long-lasting im- pacts, but it is preventable. I believe there’s more we can do to reduce bullying and stop the physical, emotional and psychological harm it causes our youth.
We hope this legislation will promote respect, inclu- sivity and fairness while im- proving Honolulu’s municipal equality index rating, which lags behind those of other ma- jor cities in our country.
