Local Company Gifts Food To Residents
UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Hawai‘i teamed up with Aloun Farms and Kapolei High School to host a drive-thru food giveaway event. Approximately 400 individuals and their ‘ohana lined up at Kapolei High and received a free bag of groceries, which included fresh produce from Aloun Farms, canned food and other nonperishable items, as well as health information materials.

Hoaloha Nurse Aide Training Program
Start your career path with an affordable Nurse Aide Training Program. This State approved training program begins November 14, 2022 and continues to December 11, 2022, preparing you for the State CNA certification exam.
This will be a virtual class, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00pm to 9:15pm, via Zoom. Three Saturdays during that time will be in the classroom for Exams and Clinical Practice. The last two days of class,
December 10 and 11th, will be at a clinical site, location to be determined, from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
The application can be found on the Hale Hau‘oli Hawai‘i website at www.halehauolihawaii.org under the CNA tab. The registration fee is due with the application. The program fee is due before
the first night of class.
Scholarships are available through Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society, (HPGS.org) and Adult Day Care Centers Hawaii.
The cost of the class is: $100 registration fee $800 due by first class
