Teens Encouraged To Apply For HPU Grant
West O‘ahu teens who wish to continue higher education at home are in luck. Hawai‘i Pacific University is offer- ing local seniors a minimum $10,000 tuition scholarship that’s renewable for three ad- ditional years.

On top of the scholarship funds, accepted students will also receive a $500 visit grant for attending a campus tour or a preview day program, priority for financial aid and registration for classes, and more.

The 8U Hawai‘i Elite 2G Rebels — made up of keiki who hail from Waipahu, ‘Ewa Beach and Kapolei — were invited to play in the 2022 8U California All-State Games Aug. 12-14 in Perris, California.
