Student-led Art Exhibition In Kapolei Depicts Present, Past
Last month, Hawai‘i Triennial 2022, an islandwide art showcase presented by Hawai‘i Contemporary, featured a student-led project in Kapolei. Titled Imagined Futures, the exhibition focused on the idea of “looking to the past to create
the future, and imagining futures that also heal the past,” and highlighted the demilitarized bunkers at Pu‘uokapolei (facing page). A reception was held at Kapolei Hale (below and right). Visit hawaiicontemporary.org for more information.
