Program Awards Local Students
West Oʻahu students can apply for Hawaiʻi State Federal Credit Union’s 2022 student scholarship program now through Jan. 31. The business will award $5,000 scholarships to 20 deserving students who are planning to attend a fully accredited univer- sity, college or trade/voca- tional school.

The scholarship program is open to all Hawaiʻi State FCU members and depen- dents. Interested students must demonstrate finan- cial need, apply as an un- dergraduate or graduate degree-seeking student, attend school full time and have a minimum 2.5 cumu- lative GPA.
The online application re- quires a most recent school transcript, personal and award impact statements, a list of achievements and community service activi- ties, and a 2022-23 Student Aid Report from the Free Application for Federal Stu- dent Aid Form (FAFSA).
