Sugarcane By Chai’s Debuts In Kapolei’s Ka Makana Ali‘i
Sugarcane by Chai’s celebrated its soft opening at Ka Makana Ali‘i late last month to much fanfare. Area legislators, including (below) state Sen. Mike Gabbard and state Rep. Cedric Gates, talked story, (facing page) while others tried the restaurant’s cuisine and cocktails. To top it off, eventgoers enjoyed a hula show.
The eatery — which features Pacific regional dishes, signature drinks and live entertainment — is run by (right) president of operations Sean Tsai and owner Peter Maharaj.
