Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i Offers Vaccine Clinic In Kapolei
Kaiser Permanente Ha- waiʻi has partnered with Con- solidated Theatres to open a mass vaccination clinic at its Kapolei location (890 Kamokila Blvd.).
“We are honored to be part of this effort to help our community,” states Rod Tengan, division manager of Consolidated Theatres. “Vaccinations will allow us to safely enjoy everyday pleasures again, like going to the movies.”
“We’re delighted to be able to provide another op- tion for Hawaiʻi residents to get their COVID-19 vacci- nations, just as more people become eligible to receive them,” states Dr. John Yang, president and medical direc- tor for Hawaiʻi Permanente Medical Group. “Having another mass vaccination center in Kapolei should make vaccination easier for the many kūpuna, essential workers and medically vul- nerable who live in West Oʻahu.”
Eligible Kaiser Perma- nente members can sched- ule an appointment online at kp.org; while nonmembers can head to kp.org/covidvac- cine for more information.
Beginning last week, those who qualify for phase 1C — which include kūpuna age 65 and older and some essential workers — were eligible for their shot. Nonmembers are invited to register, as well. Registration is always re- quired.

Kaiser Permanente’s Nanaikeola Clinic and Waipiʻo Medical Office are also hosting vaccination sites. In addition, Kaiser is offering outreach to under- served communities in the state by delivering doses of the vaccine. So far, it’s held eight events in partnership with area community cen- ters, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander nonprofits, and more.
