Westside Students March Against Menthol At Recent Event
Earlier this month, teens from across the state could be seen roadside waving signs of awareness about menthol and how it should be included in the state’s flavored tobacco ban. Students gathered in Kapolei/‘Ewa and Waipahu/Waikele, and some Westsiders even made their way to the state Capitol. The event was organized by Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawai‘i Youth Council, a program of Hawai‘i Public Health Institute. PHOTOS COURTESY HAWAI‘I PUBLIC HEALTH INSTITUTE
