Dr. James Atkisson is medical director at Navian Hawai‘i. He had been a palliative care physician at St. Michael Medical Center/Virginia Mason/ Franciscan Medical Group in Silverdale, Washington. He was a hospitalist at Kaua‘i Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and Medical Group, and Kona Community Hospital between 1986 and 2010.
Mireya Norman is deputy director of Hawai‘i Energy, the state’s public benefits fund administrator that focuses on energy-efficient education and clean-energy initiatives. Norman joined Hawai‘i Energy as budget and financial analyst in 2013 and was promoted to program support services manager in 2016.
Albert Ogata is CEO of CyberHawai‘i, the information- sharing and analysis nonprofit that oversees CompuGirls Hawai‘i and Cyber Read Hawai‘i, effective June 12. He brings more than 40 years of experience in the technology and risk management fields, and will help develop policies and maximize public and private funding opportunities while building community partnerships.

Pamela Nitta is construction risk manager at Nordic PCL Construction. She will lead estimating and preconstruction efforts of large-scale and complex projects. Nitta is known for her attention to detail and is a pioneer for women in construction, having led Nordic PCL’s first all-woman Habitat for Humanity volunteer group during Women in Construction Week.
Grant Kubota, senior vice president and wealth adviser at Morgan Stanley Honolulu, has been named to Forbes magazine’s 2023 list of America’s best-in-state wealth advisers for the sixth consecutive year in a row. This award recognizes his excellence in the field as well as his professionalism and dedication to clients.
Jamie Wakayama is marketing coordinator, administrative manager and energy consultant at Sunspear Energy. She brings more than 10 years of marketing and sales experience to the role. Prior to joining Sunspear, she was a full-time fashion stylist, a social media manager and project manager for Los Angeles Business Group, and a marketing assistant for J Squared Communications.
