Grant Helps Theater Take Center Stage
The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation has donated $500,000 to Diamond Head Theatre’s newly constructed auditorium. The longtime community playhouse has been under construction since fall 2020. Day Of Aloha Has Major Impact
MC&A staff and special guests from across the nation came together for its 2022 Day of Aloha Community Service Project, during which 140 MC&A employees worked together to revitalize Waikīkī Community Center’s interior facilities and exterior common areas. More than $28,000 worth of supplies and gifts were donated for various tasks including cleaning, repairing and painting facility rooms, landscaping, gardening, renovating its community garden and the painting of a large mural at WCC’s playground. In addition, 200 special care packages were assembled and wrapped with donated goods and gifts for Hawai‘i’s kūpuna and families in-need. PHOTO COURTESY MC&A
