Beef, the 10-episode Netflix dramedy about a road-rage incident that spirals out of control, is set to make its debut later this month at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas (the rest of us can stream it in April). It co-stars Steven Yeun, known for his role as Glenn on AMC’s The Walking Dead, and this comedian who made a stop in Honolulu as part of her “Milk
and Money” tour.
Adapted from Anne Rice’s bestselling thriller series Mayfair Witches comes the American supernatural TV show of the same name, now playing on AMC. It stars Alexandra Daddario as Rowan Fielding, a neurosurgeon who learns she is the heir to a clan of witches and must fifight a demonic presence that has plagued her family for generations. Joining her on this journey is Tongayi Chirisa, Jen Richards and this actor most known for his role as Perseus in 1981’s Clash of the Titans.
Former California governor and Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is starring in martial arts comedy Kung Fury 2. But that’s not all as the 75-year-old former Mr. Olympia also takes the lead in the new action-adventure series FUBAR on Netflix.
The show also features Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel and this actor who co-starred in
Terminator: Dark Fate and is also known for his role as Ghost Rider in Marvel’s superhero series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In a bustling metropolis where anthropomorphic animals thrive, a rookie bunny cop (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and a cynical, cunning fox (Jason Bateman) join forces to solve a mysterious case in Zootopia, which hit theaters seven years ago this week. The film, which surpassed $1 billion at the box office, also starred Shakira, Jenny Slate and this Londoner who is one of the top 20 highest-grossing actors in the day and a record-spinning DJ by night.
