Arnold Martines is CEO of Central Pacific Bank and its holding company, Central Pacific Financial, as well as the boards of both entities. Martines has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including nearly two decades at CPB. He is a champion of small businesses and led the bank’s Payment Protection Program, which was a lifeline for local small businesses during the pandemic.
Anna Garcia joins Kupu Hawai‘i as a recruiting specialist. She will bring in new members to the nonprofit’s many programs, coordinate with each program’s team, attend outreach events, and make presentations at local schools and organizations. Garcia is a veteran of Kupu’s 2021- 2022 Conservation Leadership Development Program and was a park ranger’s assistant at Diamond Head State Monument.
Brandon Hinaga is marketing and communications manager for UHA Health Insurance. He develops and executes the company’s advertising and public relations campaigns and oversees internal and external communications. Prior to joining UHA, he worked at ProService Hawai‘i, Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union and Servco Pacific.

Dr. Naleen Andrade, executive vice president of Native Hawaiian health at The Queen’s Medical Center, is the recipient of the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 ‘Ō‘ō Award. She was chosen for her leadership roles and lifelong commitment to supporting Native Hawaiian health issues. She is also a tenured professor at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine.
Malcolm Leong is vice president of client services and sales at UHA Health Insurance. He will steward the company’s sales operations, including business development, member retention and broker relations while overseeing UHA’s client services team. He is president-elect of the Punahou Alumni Association board of directors and director of the Hawai‘i Association of Health Underwriters.
Skye Kaohu joins Wahiawā Center for Community Health’s clinical care team. She will help address social determinants of health by addressing barriers in the community, coordinating delivery of medication and supplies to patients, and providing patients with transportation to medical appointments. Kaohu is studying nursing at Kapi‘olani Community College.
