The year 2024 will be a big one for Ryan Reynolds. The Canadian recently teased that Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, will return in Deadpool 3 (due Sept. 4, 2024). Besides that, he’s been spotted in New York City fifilming If (May 24, 2024), a fantasy/comedy written, directed and pro- duced by this actor, who played quite possibly the most famous “Jim” in American sitcom history.
Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o and Letitia Wright return in their reprised roles in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, set to release in theaters Nov. 11. The nation of Wakanda is pitted against intervening world powers as they mourn the loss of their king, T’Challa, who was played by this Golden Globe Award-winning actor who died in August 2020.
The pilot of Jessica Simpson’s memoir Open Book is reportedly coming to Amazon Freevee. It stars Ballers actress Katelyn Tarver as a young singer based on Simpson, who rises from ingénue to mogul. Along the way, viewers learn more about her family and the friends and lovers she picks up along the way ...including an older male musician/songwriter played
by this Full House actor.
The Grudge, which hit theaters 18 years ago this week, is about a supernatural spirit that lingers in a haunted house in Japan. It claims the lives of anyone who comes near, and passes its curse from victim to victim. National Reptile Awareness Day
This day is dedicated to promoting education and appreciation for all reptiles. Experts estimate that there are more than 10,000 species of reptiles in the world. Common reptiles you may have seen in the wild here include geckos and turtles. Jackson’s chameleons and tortoises also make for unique pets. Here’s to these cold-blooded creatures!
