Foundation Assists Local Families
Atlas Insurance Agency Foundation recently partnered with Parents And Children Together for its fall gala, this year titled “There’s No Place Like Home!,” during which it presented the nonprofit with a $10,000 donation. UH Students Succeed With Donation
Oak Foundation gifted $700,000 to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa College of Education Center on Disability Studies to support students with learning differences. The monetary award funds the development of innovative online modules that help faculty and staff improve their interactions with students with learning differences, including Indigenous students such as Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, by reflecting on administrators’ current practices.
