Releasing in theaters Oct. 7, Amsterdam takes place in the 1930s and follows three friends who witness a murder, and simultaneously become suspects themselves while also uncovering one of
the most outrageous plots in American history. The movie stars Christian Bale, Margot Robbie
and David Washington, and also features many well-known actors, including this multi-Grammy Award winner American singer-songwriter, who will soon release her new album Midnights.
Warner Bros. is reportedly working on a sequel to this supernatural action film starring Keanu Reeves as a disillusioned exorcist hell-bent on ridding the world of every last demon. Hint: The original was released in 2005 and directed by Francis Lawrence, now best known for taking over the Hunger Games franchise after the first film.
After making 51 films, Brendan Fraser’s Hollywood presence faded due to injuries he sustained performing complicated stunts for The Mummy franchise. Fraser appeared at the Venice Film Festival for his new movie, The Whale, in which he plays a 600-pound man struggling with health issues. Its premier was a hit, earning him a standing ovation
that lasted more than five minutes. This wrestler-turned-actor acknowledged Fraser’s accom- plishment and showed his support via Twitter.
On this day (Oct. 5) in 1961, Breakfast at Tiffany’s hit theaters. Nominated for five Academy Awards and six Grammy Awards, the romantic comedy celebrates New York, fashion and femininity. In the opening scene, Audrey Hepburn wears a black Givenchy dress, gloves, a stack of pearls, sunglasses and a tiny tiara (a look that’s been re-created millions of times on Halloween), and holds these two breakfast items in her hand.

Get Funky Day
    The best way to get out of a funk? Get funky! Turn up the tunes (preferably a playlist of James Brown’s top songs) and dance like no one is watching. This day is all about life, love, laughter and light, according to the Florida fitness center that established the holiday after witnessing its community come together when Hurricane Matthew hit the Sunshine State in 2016.
