Idon’t consider myself a picky eater (the only thing I still can’t stom- ach is bitter melon), but when it comes to bananas, I’ m pretty particular. Many opt to eat bananas based on the beautiful yellow hue, in- dicating ripeness, but eating yellow bananas makes me gag. They lack “real” ba- nana flavor, and the texture is more chalky than I’ d like. So, I wait until the bananas are brown, nearly black, and then consume them.
