Thor: Love and Thunder had a memorable opening weekend, bringing in $143 million. The same can’t be said for the memory of the film’s director, Taika Waititi, who says he’s still working on the next Star Wars movie. He reportedly asked this Thor actress whether she ever wanted to be in a Star Wars movie. Her response? “I’ve been in Star Wars movies.”
Nope is an upcoming science fiction horror movie directed, written and coproduced by Jordan Peele, which will be released July 22. It follows residents of an isolated town who witness a mysterious and abnormal event. It stars Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun and this actor who also starred in the previous Peele film Get Out.
Hairspray raked in the big bucks when it hit theaters 15 years ago this week. The romantic comedy was based on the Broadway musical of the same name. It stars an ensemble cast including John Travolta, Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken, James Marsden and Zac Efron, whose claim to fame is thanks in part to what Disney TV flick?
