Players laced up their shoes and brought their A games to the hardwood while competing in the Proformance Hawai‘i 3v3 Basketball Tournament at Waialua High School earlier this month. Entering were more than 60 teams made up of boys and girls in the fifth grade, and keeping things well organized were Kyle Pape and a very supportive crew. Joining Pape (center) are players from several different teams. They are (from left)Pierce Kohl and Ren Hess from Eastside; Noa Manaea, Colt Peleiholani-Kuhns, Aiden Mateo and Desmond Cotterell from Wilson Park Crew; and Kellen Kwock from Dawgs.

The Honolulu Sharks swam off with the sixth grade AAU Level 1 division title at the Jam On It Hawai‘i District Tournament, held at Hawai‘i Convention Center in March.
