There are a lot of theories surrounding the season four fifinale of Stranger Things, which premieres on Netflflix July 1, including the demise of a few beloved characters. Only time will tell, but the real lives of the young actors seem to be A-OK. Some of them are even musicians, including Finn Wolfhard (who plays Mike Wheeler), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) and Joe Kerry (Steve
Harrington). The latter releases indie music under this three-letter name.
Rob Reiner has announced Spinal Tap II, nearly 40 years after the original fifilm opened. Now 75 years old, Reiner directs and stars in it. Also returning are Michael McKean, Christopher Guest (both age 74), and this 78-year-old versatile actor, comedian and writer known for his voice portrayals of multiple animated characters on The Simpsons.
Amazon Prime’s hit series The Boys follows superheroes who abuse their powers and celebrity status — and a group of vigilantes who want to take them down. It stars two New Zealand- ers, Antony Starr (Homelander) and Karl Urban (Billy Butcher), as well as this 30-year-old Los Angeles native, who’s the progeny of not one but two mega actors who rose to fame in
the ’80s.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, which hit theaters 15 years ago this week, was based on a comic book of the same name. The plot follows the Fantastic Four team as it confronts the Silver Surfer to save planet Earth. Mister Fantastic was portrayed by Ioan Gruffudd, Human Torch by Chris Evans and The Thing was depicted by Michael Chiklis. What was female lead Jessica Alba’s character’s name?
