Daniel Chun has received the American Institute of Architects Hawai‘i Medal of Honor for his “outstanding leadership and significant contributions in architecture.” In recognizing his nearly three decades of service, the award credits Chun for his “support and influence on government affairs through policies and advocacy at the local and state levels for the integrity of architecture in the state of Hawai‘i.”
Erin Bunda is marketing director for Pearlridge Center. In this position, Bunda will oversee advertising, promotions, public relations, special events and sponsorships for the 1.3 million-square- foot property. She will also serve as the marketing liaison to the center’s 250-plus stores, eateries, medical facilities and health care providers, services and entertainment options, as well as to critical
Gregory Kugle, attorney and director for Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, has been selected as 2022 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in land use and zoning litigation. Kugle was also listed in the 2022 edition of the Best Lawyers in America in practice areas including aviation law, commercial litigation, construction law, land use and zoning law, construction litigation and real estate law.

Tran Chinery has expanded her role as director of marketing and communications for Alexander & Baldwin, adding oversight of communications to her responsibilities. Chinery will oversee marketing and communications initiatives across A&B’s grocery- anchored neighborhood shopping centers and commercial properties statewide. She first joined the company in 2007.
Todd Matsushita has been promoted to the role of audit partner for Accuity LLP. His industry specialties include but are not limited to: health care, real estate, employee benefits and information systems. Matsushita holds a bachelor’s in business administration from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, along with a number of other key industry accreditations and advance training certificates.
Shari Minato has been promoted to senior vice president and service delivery division manager with First Hawaiian Bank. Minato is responsible for overseeing branch operations, compliance requirements, staffing and compensation, manager training and call support. She also serves as the liaison between the branches, administration and operations support for process improvements and policy changes.
