Mary-Jean Shiroma is senior benefifit consultant for Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. In her new role, Shiroma will manage, service and expand employee benefifits programs for clients and prospects. She will also provide training and guidance to other staffff and assist with managing major projects and business development initiatives. Previously, she was the manager of human resources operations at Servco Pacifific Inc.
Wes Yokoyama has been appointed lead engineer and chief of the Division of Wastewater Engineering for the City & County of Honolulu. Yokoyama will oversee infrastructure and facility improvements in the city’s Department of Environmental Services (ENV), including capital improvement projects as part of the city’s consent decree with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He previously served as ENV director.
Judy Lee is recognized as a 2021 Outstanding Professional Advisor in Philanthropy by Hawai‘i Community Foundation. Lee is an attorney and partner with Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLC, where she helps promote philanthropy by initiating conversations with her clients to encourage charitable giving, and speaks to local nonprofifit organizations about estate planning and the importance of legacy gifts.

Trevor Abarzua has been named associate vice president of business advocacy and development with Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i. Abarzua is responsible for advocating for business-friendly public policy and managing and executing non-legislative initiatives, such as business development. Previously, he served as vice president of business development and attraction for the Arizona Commerce Authority in Phoenix.

She began her fifinancial services career in 2013, focusing on life insurance, before moving into other lines of coverage. Sasano received her bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Washington in Seattle. She is a member and former president of the Rotary Club of East Honolulu.
Marcus Torrey is director of beverage at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikīkī Beach Resort. In this position, Torrey will focus on creating a service-based culture across all of the resort’s beverage venues, including Tapa Bar, Hau Tree Bar, Lagoon Grill and Mix Bar, which is located in The Ali‘i Tower. He will also support the bar operations in Tropics Bar & Grill and Bali Oceanfront.
