Proving you’re never too young to play if you’ve got the skills, Zoey Jeremiah-Kwan dug, set and passed her way into last month’s Transpacific Volleyball Championship Tournament at Hawai‘i Convention Center. The 9-year-old from ‘Aiea competes as a libero on the 808 Athletic Club’s 12-Blue squad, which placed third in the tournament.

Thirteen Hawai‘i high school cheerleaders and one competitor from Japan comprised this year’s Polynesian Bowl Cheer Team, and performed during the annual football showcase at Kunuiakea Field at Kamehameha Schools-Kapālama. Selected during a virtual combine, the cheerleaders received additional coaching from the All Attitude Athletics (Triple A) staff, led by coach Kellie O’Donnell.
