 PA Cute Way To Find Balance In The New Year
                Fold a piece of 5 1/2-by-8
1/2-inch scratch paper in half. Sketch on the fold half of a sim-
ple tiger shape with the head and arm stretched out, like the sample shown. Trace and cut out for a template. Create a template for a tail.
Using the template, trace and cut two tiger bodies from the yellow gold cardstock. Trace and cut one tail from the yellow gold cardstock.
Use the pictured sample as a guide and color in the details of the
tiger’s face. Draw in the nose, mouth and whiskers. Add “stripes” all around the face and down the arms. Optional: Lightly outline the tiger with the marker to give it more definition.

• 6-by-12-inch yellow gold cardstock, for tiger body and tail
• 1-by-2-inch white cardstock, for eyes
• 2 pennies, or similar
• black Sharpie
• double-stick tape
• pen/pencil, for tracing
• scissors
• 1/2-inch circle punch or dime
From the white cardstock, use the 1/2-inch circle punch to
cut out two circles. Or, trace around a dime to cut out the circles. Use
the black Sharpie marker to draw the pupils on the
white circles for the eyes. Tape eyes to one of the tiger body pieces.
