Insurance Company Supports BBBS
DTRIC Insurance Co. recently gifted $5,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai‘i. The funds will benefit the nonprofit’s mission to build and support one-on-one relationships to ignite the biggest possible futures for local youth. Island Insurance ‘Rises’ To The Occasion
Island Insurance Foundation, the charitable arm of locally owned company Island Insurance, committed $250,000 to University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s RISE project, raising the total amount of private donations for the endeavor to $1 million. RISE, which stands for Residences for Innovative Student Entrepreneurs, will be an innovation and entrepreneurship center, as well as a site for student housing.
