Matthew Scanlon has been named director of construction at Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation. He will work under the direction of the project director to lead construction management efforts for the Honolulu Rail Transit Project. He will be responsible for construction management, schedule, budget, quality and oversight of the construction management teams.
Pauline Guillermo is director of development at Helping Hands Hawai‘i. She will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive fund development programs in alignment with and in support of the organization’s strategic plans and vision through annual, major and planned giving programs, corporate and foundation relations, and stakeholder/donor connections.
Lance Parker, currently executive vice president, has additionally been named chief operating officer of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. He previously served as chief real estate officer. Parker will continue to be responsible for managing A&B’s Hawai‘i portfolio of commercial real estate assets, as well as steering the company’s CRE growth efforts. He first joined A&B in 2004.

Na‘unanikina‘u Kamali‘i
Cori Grunenwald is an associate at Starn O’Toole Marcus & Fisher. She will work with litigation and transactional teams in drafting commercial real estate transaction documents, drafting litigation filings and litigation case research. Grunenwald earned her Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School. Prior to joining the firm, Grunenwald taught mathematics at James Campbell High School.
Jonathan Kindred has been appointed director of the Central Pacific Financial Corp. and Central Pacific Bank boards. He brings more than 35 years of global experience in the financial services industry to his new role. Kindred is currently managing member of KR Consulting LLC, a professional services consulting firm based in Lahaina. Previously, he worked for Morgan Stanley.
Na‘unanikina‘u Kamali‘i is chief advocate at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. She will lead OHA’s advocacy division and oversee mission-aligned public policy development, implementation, compliance, monitoring, evaluation and more. Kamali‘i was formerly a manager with the The Queen’s Health Systems and health policy director for Papa Ola Lōkahi.
