Tracy Tonaki is head of Hawai‘i operations for D.R. Horton. She follows in the footsteps of Bob Bruhl, who held the position for 18 years. Tonaki has worked for the company since 2003. She was previously responsible for statewide community planning, architectural and civil engineering design, permitting, procurement, construction contract management and government relations before stepping into her new role.
Avery Aoki is chief financial officer of Outrigger Hospitality Group. He provides leadership in creating and implementing greater efficiency across the company’s operations in Hawai‘i and Asia Pacific, as well as financial reporting, audits, transitions, contract negotiations, financial modeling and analysis. Aoki has had a notable career with Outrigger, and joined the company in 1986 as controller.
Catherine Orlans has been appointed destination manager at O‘ahu Visitors Bureau. She will be responsible for implementation and oversight of the O‘ahu Destination Management Action Plan, as well as O‘ahu’s Community Enrichment Program. Orlans brings experience in the hospitality industry, sales and marketing, and sustainability to the position.

Michael Jenkins
Anthony Mejia is vice president of information technologies at FCH Enterprises. He will oversee the technical aspects of online ordering, kitchen technology and data engineering. Mejia is an experienced food service IT professional, most recently serving as vice president of information technologies at Pieology Pizzeria and, prior to that, at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar.
Mari (Galiher) Martin has been named communications and social media manager at FCH Enterprises. She will oversee media relations, government affairs, community relations and social media for all FCH Enterprises brands, including Zippy’s Restaurants and other companies. Martin previously worked for Central Pacific Bank, where she was the digital marketing project manager.
Michael Jenkins has been appointed director of loyalty and customer insight art for Zippy’s Restaurants. With over 15 years of data-centric marketing experience, Jenkins is tasked with leading the creation of the eatery’s first loyalty program. In previous years, Jenkins worked for Samsung’s streaming service and Google’s media lab.
