Live and virtual events are scheduled for this year’s ‘Uku- lele Picnic in Hawai‘i, which showcases local and interna- tional players. Team Kamaka Live featuring ‘ukulele players Raiatea Helm, Kalei Gamiao, Chris Kamaka, Bryan Tolentino and more, will be held Sept. 2 at Blue Note Hawai‘i. ‘UKULELE NOW, set for Sept. 4, will be a streaming event with ‘ukulele performers from all over the world.

Hawai‘i Arts Alliance is adding classes to its Traditional Arts Pro- gram at the Downtown Art Center
in Nu‘uanu. Each six-week session is made up of six classes. Courses include Materials of Drawing & Painting, Kapa for Keiki, Samoan Performing Arts and Taiko Keiki Class.
