After just two previous monthly commu- nity events, volunteers have tagged and sampled over 130 basketball-sized corals, pro- duced over 180 native seed balls, prepared dozens of na- tive limu braids, and assessed runoff mitigation for numer- ous homes.
This is what makes the Re- store with Resilience initia- tive critical in its timing and exciting in its innovation. It consists of a broad partner- ship of organizations working together to restore the health of coral reefs ecosystems, and doing so with an eye toward the future.
