Painful Hips or Knees? Just Call “The Robot Doc”
kids or grandkids. Even simple things can become a challenge and you may start feeling old and even depressed.
Hi, I’m Dr. Paul Norio Morton, and I’d like to help you get back out there, again, living an active life and doing all those things you love. I was raised in Kea‘au on the Big Island and am so happy to be back in Hawai‘i practicing medi- cine. I opened my solo Or- thopedic Surgery practice at Queen’s Medical Center last year, and expanded to West O‘ahu and Kona this year. I decided to become
a doctor while I served as
a volunteer firefighter and EMT when I was in college in Ohio, and returned
Surgeon in Hawai‘i who
is Fellowship-trained in Robotic Joint Replacement. Some of my patients have even nicknamed me “The Robot Doc” which makes me smile because I love robotics! I believe robotic surgery is more precise, less invasive, has fewer complications, and will get my patients back out there feeling pain-free faster. But, although I use the latest technology, I still believe
in good, old-fashioned, friendly and personal-
ized care for each of my patients. Check out my patients’ reviews at www. doctormorton.com.
If you’re having issues with your hips or knees, please give me a call today.
Whether it’s robotic surgery or another treatment, let’s work together to find the best solution for you and get you back to being ac- tive, again!

If you or someone you care about is suffering from knee or hip pain, you know how debilitating it can be and the toll it can take on your lifestyle. You cannot enjoy many activities you once took for granted - gar- dening, walking, bicycling, dancing, various sports,
or just playing with your
home to attend the Uni- versity of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine. My love of sports, helping people and technology led me to choose Orthopedic Surgery. I specialize in hips and knees, and focus on joint reconstruction, joint preservation and salvage procedures. I prefer mini- mally-invasive approaches, including the Direct Anteri-
or approach - an alternative to conventional total hip replacement, and I am well- versed in modern adult reconstruction techniques including partial knee replacements and robotic- assisted replacements. I also have extensive training in complex revisions of failed joint replacements.
I am the first Orthopedic
