Mayim Bialik headlines a sitcom once again in Call Me Kat, which recently got renewed for a second season — expect it in January 2022. Bialik is probably best known for her role in Blossom and as a neuroscientist (she’s also one in real life) on a CBS show that went out with a bang.
Sending well wishes to 78-year-old Harrison Ford, who injured his shoulder while working on Indiana Jones 5. Don’t worry, though, as it’s still slated to come out July 2022, and will star the likes of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas and this actor who plays a terrifying psychiatrist with a taste for human flesh.
Jerry Seinfeld might not be starring in any more sitcoms, but he’s still hard at work in the TV and film industry. He’s committed to write, produce, direct and star in a Netflix movie
— titled Unfrosted — about this iconic brand of toaster pastries.
The brawny comedy Sky High turns 16 this week, and starred Kurt Russell and the late Kelly Preston as superhero parents who enroll their son Will (Michael Angarano) in an airborne high school made for teenage superheroes and sidekicks. For Russell, playing someone with super abilities is not unfamiliar territory. Thirty years prior to Sky High, he was cast in this Disney film as a college student with amazing strength.
