Spooked Nudists Fined For Lockdown BreachTh ou
Deer are not native to Australia, which might explain why two nude sunbathers in Royal National Park, south of Syd- ney, ran into the bush when a deer startled them on a nud- ist beach on June 27. The two men, 30 and 49 years old, be- came lost and called for help, summoning a police rescue helicopter to pluck them from the forest, Reuters reported. Unfortunately for them, they were found to be breach- ing a COVID-19 lockdown instated in response to the Delta variant, and both were charged with fines.

Playing With Fire
A 35-year-old man from Emmaus, Pennsylvania, was presumably having a good time on June 20, sitting in his Dodge Ram truck and light- ing fireworks, then throwing them out the window ... un- til he was critically injured by one that didn’t make it out- side the cab. The exploding firework also did significant damage to the interior of the truck, lehighvalleylive.com reported, but didn’t cause a fire, according to the town’s police chief, Troy Schantz.

Kyle Campbell, 31, of In- diana, has been banned from Yellowstone National Park for five years after a series of incidents on June 21 that also landed him with a 60-day jail sentence, five years of unsu- pervised probation and a fine.
But he wasn’t finished. Back in the patrol vehicle, he tried to kick out the back window and had to be placed in leg restraints, then was forcibly sedated on the way to a hospital to treat his in- juries. Rangers found empty alcohol bottles and marijuana containers in Campbell’s car.

The group moved to another part of the park, where Camp- bell threatened a security guard who asked him to drive more slowly. Unfortunately for Marks, the off-duty officer recog- nized him from a domestic incident that he had respond- ed to earlier in the year. The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office launched an investiga- tion, and Marks was arrested on June 28 for false person- ation of a police officer.
