Marie-Aline Zappia-Kuzmack has been appointed chief administrative officer of Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i. Zappia-Kuzmack will partner with Dr. John Yang in overseeing all medical group operations for members throughout the state. Most recently, Zappia- Kuzmack was the chief administrative officer for the Kaiser Permanente San Diego service area.
Dr. James Ham was named one of six Rotary People of Action: Champions of Health. Ham is a member of Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset and board-certified emergency physician at Straub Medical Center. He volunteers as an attending physician and medical student preceptor with Hawai‘i H.O.M.E. Project, which provides free care to the homeless.
Dana Okudara is director of housekeeping at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikīkī Beach Resort. She will lead more than 650 team members, and will provide oversight and guidance to ensure the cleanliness at the resort. Okudara has been with Hilton Hawaiian Village for 26 years, and most recently served as assistant director of housekeeping for the last 15 years.

Eugene Davis is regulatory officer at Hawai‘i Credit Union League. His responsibilities include researching laws and regulations, providing advice to member credit unions for compliance and to enhance operations. He was previously senior specialist administrator at Central Pacific Bank, Honolulu. Davis received his bachelor’s in finance from Louisiana State University.
Marilyn Hakkei is a mortgage loan originator with Homebridge Financial Services Hawai‘i. She will specialize in residential mortgage loan origination for purchases and refinances on O‘ahu. Previously, Hakkei worked for CMG Financial, Honolulu Home Loans and State Farm Insurance. Hakkei is a graduate of Hawai‘i Pacific University.
Brent Arakaki has been named chief financial officer at Goodwill Hawai‘i. He will be in charge of the financial responsibilities for the organization, which is comprised of nonprofits like Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i, Goodwill Contract Services of Hawai‘i and Kapolei Charter School. He will also oversee the IT and risk management departments and functions.
