The pandemic has taken a toll on Ha- wai‘i, and our economy took a turn for the worse. From dealing with a virus that plagued the world to the hardships and changes that followed, no one was ever prepared for what was to come.
Kū Makani is a free, anonymous and judgment-free service that will last up until October 2021. We are located throughout Hawai’ i on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island, Maui and Kaua‘i.
Through this disaster, a crisis counsel- ing program made its way to Hawai‘i: Kū Makani was established January 2021. Our mission is to provide COVID crisis counseling services, assisting both adults and children with recovering from the impacts of the coronavirus.
