MARCH 17, 2021 MIDWEEK 23
Bear is a big, cuddly 8-year- old terrier mix with a lot of love to give. He is very social, but is also very laid back.
Bear has skin issues that cause some parts of his body to look not so great. His skin has already begun to improve since being in Hawaiian Humane Society’s care, and continues to get better with proper diet and medication. Over time and with the right care, he will get back to looking his very best!
Bear is looking for a family that will show him a good life and loving care.
“He is a big guy
with lots of love to
give; he is looking a
little better each day,”
relays a Hawaiian Humane Society team member.
If you are interested in adopting this lovable guy, make an adoption appointment with Hawaiian Humane Society to meet him.
All appointments must be scheduled online at hawaiianhumane.org/adoptions.
Hawaiian Humane Society has plenty of animals available for adoption if Bear has already found a home.
See all the dogs, cats and small animals currently available at hawaiianhumane.org.

  We’re here to help.
Over the past year, the pandemic has affected us all. At Hawaiian Electric, we’re committed to helping our customers and communities recover. If we keep supporting each other, we’ll get through this together.
Keeping the power on for homes and businesses is always our top priority. From customer service to operations to the crews you see working in your neighborhoods, we’ve been following comprehensive health protocols, so we can all stay safe and healthy.
Caring for our communities has been a challenge during the pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped us from volunteering. We’re just finding new ways to meet those needs, while still following current safety measures.
Our goal is to keep everyone connected to their electric service. For those facing financial hardships caused by COVID-19, let us help. We have many options that can defer the start of your payments and spread them over time. We can also tailor a custom plan to meet your needs. All plans are interest free and late fees are waived.
For payment arrangement options, please call 548-7311.
