determination, it’s the perfect sign for moving into a new year — especially after 2020. Chinese New Year in Vegas is yet another holiday on the Ninth Island where the casi- nos go all out with elaborate, festive décor. While beautiful displays can be found through- out The Strip, perhaps the most captivating one is at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.
The Bellagio conservatory is open 24/7 and is free to the public. “A Season of Love” will remain on display through March 6.
Hopefully, along with kick- ing off The Year of The Ox, Vegas also will celebrate mov- ing off of its recent “pause,” which has reduced capacity in businesses, such as casinos, ho- tels, restaurants and bars, to 25 percent through Feb. 15. Most Ninth Island businesses have remained open, and a handful have adjusted their hours of operation. While all of the ho- tels on The Strip are currently open, The LINQ Hotel + Ex- perience, The Mirage, Planet Hollywood and Park MGM are only taking reservations Thursdays through Mondays. There are also several restau- rants within these properties that have adjusted their hours. With the frequent changes due to COVID-19, we recommend contacting businesses directly to inquire about their most re- cent schedule.

After nearly a week of changing over from the holiday display, the breathtaking floral garden at Bellagio has blos- somed into a 14,000-square- foot tribute to The Year of The Ox, titled “A Season of Love.” Designer Ed Libby, along with the talented horticulture team at Bellagio, utilized feng shui to create scenes conveying love of nature, commitment, tradition, children and travel.

While there are several all-you-can-eat restaurants throughout the Vegas Valley, buffets both Downtown and on The Strip remain closed. But don’t worry, buffet lov- ers, there is still one that is a quick drive from The Strip. Garden Buffet at South Point Hotel Casino & Spa is open and is just as delicious as ever! Some changes due to COVID-19 safety procedures
include reduced capacity, so- cial distancing, reservation requirements, and the food is served by staff. Be sure to get The Club Card for discounts on the buffet!
