According to Hawaiian Humane Society, not only does the program enable potential adopters to learn more about dogs they may be interested in, but moving dogs into a lov- ing home environment — even temporarily — can also profoundly impact the dogs’ well-being.
The Couch Crashers program has been popu- lar with people looking to adopt. So far, approxi- mately 75% of participat- ing dogs have been adopt- ed by their fosters.
