‘Aiea dental hygiene student Christine Joy Diza, daughter of Emelita and Miguel Diza, received a $5,000 scholarship from the Hawai‘i Dental Ser- vice Foundation. Christine Joy is a second-year dental hygiene student at Univer- sity of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. “Access to quality oral health care for Hawai‘i’s families is a priority for the Hawai‘i Dental Service Foundation and our state,” states Dr. Di- ane Paloma, HDS president and CEO. “By supporting the education of students and encouraging them to practice in Hawai‘i, we are investing in the next generation of oral health professionals to serve
