ASB Offers Financial Education Program
American Savings Bank recently launched its ASB Financial Education pro- gram, and Leeward Oʻahu residents are invited to uti- lize the free service.
Now available online, the resource center offers ASB bankers access to a pleth- ora of playlists comprised of quick five-minute train- ings. Topics include debt management, budgeting for families, credit scores, fi- nance for senior caregivers and more.
“We’re passionate about creating a stronger, healthi- er Hawaiʻi and believe that empowering individuals to take control of their financ- es and future helps to make this a reality,” states presi- dent and CEO Rich Wacker. “Whether it’s learning how to budget or working to- ward a major milestone, such as home ownership or retirement, the ASB Fi- nancial Education program provides individuals with the tools and resources to achieve their dreams.”
The program is also being offered to area schools, with 41 slated to jump on board.
Customers are encour- aged to use ASB’s financial wellness resources, which include an assessment and recommendations on finan- cial situations, one-on-one appointments with staff and web stories to peruse.
