Credit Union Funds Nursing Scholarship
Hawai‘i Central Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Honolulu, is stepping up to address Hawai‘i’s nursing shortage. The financial insti- tution is sponsoring a $5,000 nursing scholarship at Cham- inade University for the 2023- 24 school year. Its board of di- rectors, led by chairman Neil Shimogawa, recently present- ed a check for the money to Chaminade University presi- dent Lynn Babington.
