Two Directors Will Go Head-to-head In Kumu Kahua Theatre’s Latest Show

Kumu Kahua Theatre is offering up to 10 free tickets to the community every weekend of every show throughout its 2022-23 season, which runs through August 2023. This gift is in the memory of the theater’s late founder, Dennis Carroll, who believed in making the performing arts accessible to everyone, re- gardless of economic circumstances. In addition to The Work, Kumu Kahua Theatre’s 2022-23 season is under- way. Aloha Las Vegas runs through Sept. 25. It follows the story of retired widower Wally Fukuda, whose qui- et life in Liliha is disrupted when a friend from Las Ve- gas shows up and tries to convince Wally to join him on the Ninth Island.
