Bring Arts Into The Classroom
The Hawai‘i State Founda- tion on Culture and the Arts provides arts education pro- grams and opportunities to schools throughout the state, including schools in East O‘ahu. Two of its offerings are currently accepting appli- cations.
Its Art Bento program, which is tailored for grades two through six, uses the museum as a learning lab and engages participants through observation, discus- sion and critical thinking. Applications for the 2023- 24 school year are due by 4 p.m. on March 17.
