   Support Local At Kāhala Mall
Sugar Sugar Hawai‘i at Kāhala Mall boasts an ex- panded selection of jew- elry, stones and crystals, home décor, art, gifts and more.
“Fueled by a loving community and a desire to build each other up, we soon started featuring other small artists, micro-busi- nesses and social develop- ment programs,” Gieschen adds.
Paeste, general manager of Kāhala Mall.
“For two years we’ve wanted to open a store at Kāhala Mall since so many of our friends and regulars live in the area,” states owner James Gieschen. “We really hope shoppers can appreciate the mission of Sugar Sugar Hawai‘i, namely to help small mak- ers and artists build their own business through brand recognition. We fo- cus on solid, gradual, or- ganic local growth, which hopefully will continue to enable us to become a known fixture in the sur- rounding community.
Sugar Sugar Ha- wai‘i, which is nearly 1,500-square feet, is locat- ed near Macy’s and Simply Home.
While there are vari- ous shops throughout the island, each Sugar Sugar Hawai‘i location is unique and a little different from the others. The store boasts a mix of about 20% of in- house products and 80% from small businesses, in- cluding items from artists in developing countries.
