East O‘ahu Residents Are Invited To Run For A ‘Great’ Cause
Take part in the upcoming Hawai‘i Pacific Health Great Aloha Run, a family-friendly event, slated for Feb. 18-21.

Registration is now open for the 38th annual Hawai‘i Pacific Health Great Aloha Run, and, good news for East O‘ahu residents, the event will take place virtu- ally for the second year in a row.

Participants have the op- portunity to run the 8.15- mile foot race at any loca- tion at any time between Feb. 18 and 21.
“We like the idea of host- ing a virtual event that is more inclusive to people, including people who may not be able to run the full length of the race in one sitting but can break it up into different days,” adds Kai Onouye.
“Despite these challeng- ing times, the Great Alo- ha Run is committed to the health and well-being of the people of Hawai‘i, and there’s no doubt that our Hawai‘i charities need our support now more than ever,” states Carole Kai Onouye, who founded the Great Aloha Run and con- tinues to spearhead and

Registration costs $30- $40, depending on age. Last year, the event raised $238,000, which benefited more than 50 charitable organizations in the local community.
