Helemano Elementary School Counselor Honored Nationally

In addition to helping the students, Caraulia has cul- tivated a nurturing environ- ment for teachers, focusing on their mental health and wellness needs. She has an open door policy for any staff needing to share per- sonal or professional con- cerns and has spearheaded activities that promote and prioritize staff well-being.
Caraulia was celebrated as the Hawai‘i State School Counselor of the Year at
