Mililani High School’s Trav- el Competition Team took two national ti- tles at the Jamz Cheer Com- petition, which was held Jan. 27-28 in Las Vegas. The Mililani junior varsity competition group became national champions of the junior varsity level 1 divi- sion with a score of 91.14, and the varsity stunt group also earned the top spot. In addition, the varsity team placed third overall in lev- el 2 with a score of 91.32. JV members are Courtney Uehara, Kayla Newton, Kylan Kochi, Ayanna Ri- vera-Gaines, Giselle Clay- ton, Amaiyah Aga, Cierra Dela Cruz, Lauren Kouchi, Lexi Saiki, Saydie Colston,
Dasia Flores, Khyla Caba- cungan and Aliyah Madei- ra. Varsity team members are Jennifer Geschwind, Emma Miller, Saydi Me- neses, Jordan Geschwind, Kaylee Tsujimura, Sophia Pascarelli, Jana Kazama, Kailey Tremayne, Malia Fujinaka, Tony Pecpec, Victoria Pastrana, Amelia Walthouse and Karli Kane- shiro. Coaches are Amber Sistoza-Awong, Cydney Meneses, Dannela Pagay and Sakari Kierstedt ... Hale‘iwa Elementary School will showcase its game strat- egy, design and teamwork skills for an opportunity to be crowned world champion at a global event to be held April 25-May 4 in Dallas, Texas.
