Campaign Supports Special Olympics Hawai‘i
Par Hawai‘i — the par- ent company of Hele and 76 Hawai‘i gas stations — is holding its 17th annual Fueling Dreams campaign, which raises awareness for local nonprofit Special Olympics Hawai‘i and its athletes.
“After the pandemic canceled many events and in-person fundraisers, we understand that fundraisers like Fueling Dreams are more important than ever (to) keep our athletes ac- tive, engaged and working towards getting them back on the playing fields they love,” states Eric Lee, Par Hawai‘i’s vice president – retail. “We have been supporting Special Olym- pics Hawai‘i for more than three decades and are look- ing forward to continuing to help them further their work transforming the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities.”
Through March 31, resi- dents can make a donation at 34 participating nomnom
stores across the state, in- cluding its Central O‘ahu locations (Town Center of Mililani at 95-614 Lan- ikuhana Ave.; Mililani Mauka at 95-1141 Ukuwai St.; Wahiawā at 966 Cal- ifornia Ave.; and Hale‘iwa at 66-580 Kamehameha Hwy.). All proceeds will go toward SOH’s programs and training for more than 3,400 youth and adult ath- letes with disabilities.

“We are extremely grate- ful — especially coming out of the pandemic when we had to cancel many of our in-person fundraisers — to have one of our lon- gest-running fundraisers return for another year,” states Dan Epstein, presi- dent and CEO of SOH. “Par Hawai‘i has been a trusted partner and their fundrais- ers create opportunities our local athletes might not otherwise have to fuel their dreams.”
