• FESTIVAL The inaugural North Shore Christmas Festival will take place now through Dec. 23 at North Shore Stables, 67-221 Waialua Beach Road. It will include reindeer pony rides, carnival games, a petting zoo, craft fair and local food vendors. The celebration will have a wreath-deco- rating contest with $500 in prizes for the public. For a Christmas tree deco- rating contest, North Shore Stables will donate the trees to O‘ahu schools, who in turn will take part in adorning them. Three schools will be chosen to receive a pizza party for up to 200 keiki. Fes-
tival hours are 4-8 p.m. weekdays and 1-9 p.m. weekends. Admission is free for ages 12 years and under, $5 for ages 13 to 17 and $10 for adults. Parking is free. Visit northshorestables.com/ christmas or email christmas@north- shorestables.com.
