Patsy Nakayama Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At Shirokiya

On Friday morning, Patsy Nakayama stopped at Shirokiya to pick up some snacks for her afternoon plane ride to Las Vegas.

As she made her purchase at 9:55 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Patsy with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Shirokiya shopping spree.

“I like the food items at Shirokiya,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired computer operator. “Whenever I shop at Ala Moana, I eat my lunch here. And I like to look at the knickknacks and craft things.”

Patsy lives in Aiea and has three grown sons and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys making jewelry, sewing and going to Vegas. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“The articles are very interesting,” she said. “I read everything.”
