Patriotic Veterans Day Concert At Koolau Club

First Presbyterian Church at Koolau will host a free Veteran’s Day concert at 5 p.m. Nov. 11 in its main sanctuary at Koolau Golf Club, featuring its own choir, accompanied by the Oahu Civic Orchestra with conductor Ron Hirai.

Mary Chestnut Hicks will conduct the First Prez choir, with a playlist featuring Elgar’s Triumphal March, Bizet’s Overture to Star Spangled Banner, Battle Hymn of the Republic, an Armed Service Salute and more inspirational patriotic music, as well as guest conductor Tim Carney.

Donations are welcome for the all-volunteer show.
