Oahu Brewfest Benefit Is Coming To Paradise

Kapolei Foundation and Kapolei Rotary Club will co-sponsor the 2013 Oahu Brewfest from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at Paradise Cove as a benefit for its college scholarship fund for local students.

The Ko Olina event features food from Monkey-pod Kitchen, Tanioka’s, Off the Wall, Auntie Pasto’s Kunia and Won Kee, with beers crafted by 25 breweries from around the globe.

Also planned for guests are a cigar tent by Fujioka’s Wine & Spirits, a fashion show by Florencia Arias Hawaii and a Halloween costume contest.

Admission is $70, which includes beer tasting, food and entertainment.

The Rotarians and the foundation recently awarded $37,000 in 2013 scholarships to 19 high school students from Ewa Beach, Kapolei, Nanakuli and Waianae schools.
